Sunday September 9, 2001 was an exciting day for our church as we broke ground in preparation for the building of our new addition. Here are some pictures of the event!

After the morning worship service, we gathered to officially begin construction on the new church addition.   The Lord gave us beautiful weather ...

... and a spirit of unity and excitement!

Pastor Arnold shares from the Word at the groundbreaking.   Nevin Mumma prays and dedicates the project to the Lord.

The children especially enjoyed the service as they did most of the ground breaking!   The building committee (from left to right) - Stu Brown, Nevin Mumma, Rick Bertou, Pastor Arnold Killinger and Pastor Brian Volpone. Not pictured - Joe Commero

Young and old rejoiced in the Lord's goodness to us!

Up, up and away! We launched helium-filled, biodegradeable ballons as a celebration of the grand event!

The balloons floated skyward. They carried Gospel tracts and brochures announcing the groundbreaking.
