Here's the list of things we had to find in our Scavenger Hunt.

Please obey all laws! HAVE FUN!!!! [The point values for each object are in parentheses after the item.]

1. See how many signatures you can get. Place on other paper.  (1 point per signature)

2. Make and bring back with you a macaroni necklace. It must fit the leader's neck and they must wear it all night.  (5)

3. Find someone who was born in another country (other than someone in the youth group).  (2)

4. Get a sea shell.  (1)

5. Get a fist full  of Easter grass.  (2)

6. Get a doll. Someone must carry it with them at all times.  (3)

7. Get a tape recording of someone singing a lullaby to a goat.  (4)

8. Bring back an empty bag from Weis [a local grocery store].  (1)

9. Bring back a golf club.  (2)

10. Get a doughnut. Find a policeman and give it to him/her.  (1)
    Bonus point - give them a church business card and get their signature.  (5)
    Extra bonus points - if you get a picture trading card of them.  (5)

11. Get a softball mitt.  (1)

12. Get on tape the sound of water.  (2)

13. Get a clean cup from Burger King.  (1)
    Bonus points - get a clean slushy cup.  (2)

14. Get a sales flyer from Giant [another local grocery store].  (1)

15. Go to High Spring Water and see how many cups of water you can get with .25.  (8)

16. Get 1 point for every business card you exchange.  (1 plus)

17. Get a tape recording of a dog barking.  (2)

18. Go to someone's house and say "Trick or Treat".  (2)
    Bonus points - if you get a treat from them without asking  (4)

19. Get a tape recording of the group singing a Christmas song to someone on the street or in the park.  (7)

20. Get the book Green Eggs and Ham, then go to the grocery store of your choice. Go to the dairy section and read the book out loud. (You may stop only if the manager asks you to.)  (10)

21. Go to Sheetz [a local gas station/convenience store] and buy a drink for a stranger then get their signature (one drink per team).  (3)

22. Go to [the address of one of our church members]. Look for the envelope with your team's number on it. Bring the unopened envelope back with you.  (2)
    [In case you're wondering, there was nothing in the envelope!]

23. Go to the Lititz Springs Park. Pick up five pieces of trash per person on your team (place in trash bag).  (4)
    Bonus points - get a feather per person.  (1 point per feather)
    Extra bonus points - get a tape recording of a duck quacking.  (3)

24. Get 5 weeds per person from the front flowerbed at church.  (10)

25. Get the following coins from 5 different people (other than team members): .1   .5   .10   .25   .50   1.00  (3 points per coin)
    Bonus points if you get them all  (10 bonus points)
    Extra bonus points -- state quarter  (5)

26. Get a CLEAN diaper  (1)
    LOSE 200 points if the diaper is dirty!

27. Get a baggie full of mulch  (2)

28. Go to SKH [another local grocery store]. Wait in line (not 10 items or less). When you get to the cashier, ask for her autograph and then give the cashier one of our church business cards (You can't buy anything).  (6)

29. Get a tape recording of the group singing HAPPY UNBIRTHDAY to the cashier in Turkey Hill.  (8)

30. Go to any grocery store and buy 1 piece of lunch meat.

31. Bring back an application from 3 store you haven't already visited  (5)

32. Bring me a tulip (1 per team).  (3)

33. Bring me a toothpick.  (1)

34. Write down 5 things you find in the refrigerated section of Hess [another local gas station/convenience store].  (3)
    Bonus points if you get a tape recording of the group singing any chorus to someone working there.  (6)

35. Get 1 ice cream cone  (1)
    Bonus points if everyone licks the ice cream cone 2 times.  (10)

36. What word in Proverbs 1:7 describes how you feel at this moment?  (2)

37. Take away 1 point for every horse and buggy you see.  (-1)

38. Take away 1 point for every red light you get stopped at.  (-1)

39. Get the prices of 4 medium pizzas at four different places. Write them down.  (6)

40. Get a piece of sidewalk chalk and write all your names down at the youth center.  (5)

Make sure you are back on time. You get 2 minutes grace. After that you lose 1 point per minute you are late!
